Reference sources like encyclopedias, dictionaries, or almanacs, can be a good place to start your research, especially when you are new to a topic. A reference source can provide you with basic definitions of concepts, a chronology of events, and an overview of the topic.
The print reference collection can be found on the second floor of the library on the east side of the stairs. These titles do not check out, but copies of individual pages can be made using the scanner downstairs.
Stat! Ref is a database that contains current editions of medical, nursing, and drug reference books and other texts in a full-text format.
