Massage Therapy Program Guide: Finding Background Information

What is a Reference Source?

Reference sources like encyclopedias, dictionaries, or almanacs, can be a good place to start your research, especially when you are new to a topic. A reference source can provide you with basic definitions of concepts, a chronology of events, and an overview of the topic.

Other Places to find Reference Sources

The print reference collection can be found on the second floor of the library on the east side of the stairs. These titles do not check out, but copies can be made using the scanner or copy machine downstairs.
