Using the LSCO Library: E-Books

The following databases contain eBooks.

LIBBY MOBILE App

The app allows you to borrow eBooks, Audiobooks, and magazines from the LSCO library. Sign by selecting Lamar State College as your library and login in using your MyGator username and password. 

With the app, you can:

• Search and browse our library's entire overdrive collection.
• Download titles to the app and read them even when you’re offline.
• Sync bookmarks and recent positions in the same title across mobile devices.
• Customize the reading experience by adjusting font size, brightness, margins, and more.
• Easily return materials to our library's overdrive collection when you finish reading.

EBSCO E-Books Mobile App

The app supports the complete EBSCO eBooks experience, allowing you to discover eBooks in our library's collection, download them to your device, and begin reading immediately, all within the EBSCO eBooks app.

With the app, you can:

• Search and browse our library's entire EBSCO eBook collection
• Download titles to the app and read them even when you’re offline
• Sync bookmarks and recent positions in the same title across mobile devices
• Customize the reading experience by adjusting font size, brightness, margins, and more
• Easily return eBooks to our library's collection when you finish reading

To Login into EBSCOhost

1. Click on the EBSCO App above. 

2. Then under Select Resources, click on EbscoHost all Databases. 

3. At the top right-hand corner, click on Sign IN.

4. Enter your MyGator email and Password. 

5. From there you can save articles and books to your folder.
